Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines grew up in the vicinity of Tallahassee located in Florida. She was born in Miami Beach on September 21, 1964 to Rosemary (Graham), and James Hines. She attended West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. It wasn't until she moved to Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater and enrolled in comedy classes there that she truly felt like she was taught about humor. Her first teacher there was Lisa Kudrow. She taught her how to play improvise and sketch comedy. She used this experience to prepare her for the character of Larry David's spouse in HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue in the comedy is improvised, so she feels right at home. The Groundlings Theater is the place where she can perform when her schedule can allow. Cheryl Cheryl Cheryl
