Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson, an actor and songwriter who hails born in Los Angeles was born in 1983. She is the daughter and great-granddaughter of the musician Marc Anthony Thompson, as and actor Bobby Ramos. Her childhood was spent in Los Angeles, before she made the move to Brooklyn. Her mother comes from Mexican and British Isles roots, while her father is an Afro-Panamanian. Thompson went to Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. Thompson enrolled at Santa Monica College after graduation with a cultural and Anthropology degree. The role she played was Juliet, she portrayed Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" during a Pasadena California production by The Boston Court Theatre. The same year, her performance received an NAACP Theatre Nomination. Tessa was first on television in 2005. Her role was in an actress in the CBS Series.
