Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born. She is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most notable performance was in the role of Esperanza in her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If the love you have for someone isn't not right'. Her other credits include being in a variety of films, including 'Illegal Tender', 'Takers' 'Boy Wonder' and 'True The Memoirs Of An International Assassin'. In 2004, she and her family relocated to the USA after a move from Medellin Antioquia in Colombia. Henao was a student at Methodist College at Fort Bragg in North Carolina while serving three years in the U.S. Army. She was a student at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, and worked odd jobs prior to launching her acting career. On a personal note The gorgeous and gifted actress is currently engaged to American Model Joel Rush since 2014. She used to be engaged in a relationship with the actor Terrace Howard.
