Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. In the 1950s she started her professional career as an actor on stage as part of Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. In the following years, she appeared in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she released Her first album of music It's the Right Time to Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a dramatic film. The film was a huge hit and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York.
